Ben Klick raises $56,865 at 4th Annual MS Music Fest – Kelowna News

Music Fest MS a success

The 4th edition of Music Fest MS did not disappoint.

Kelowna country music star Ben Klick raised a total of $56,865 for the MS Society of Canada.

The annual fundraiser was held May 8 at Predator Ridge Golf Course with a golf tournament, gala dinner, silent auction and acoustic show.

Klick, Aaron Goodvin and special guest Dean Brody took the stage in the evening.

“Each year, the event grows. The show wouldn’t be what it is without the support of the community, sponsors, volunteers, artists and my family. It was an amazing day at Predator Ridge. And I’m thrilled to announce that there will be a virtual radio show and telethon at the end of the month for those who missed the in-person show,” Klick said.

The event, in support of MS Awareness Month, brings local communities together through music and gives back to those directly and indirectly affected by multiple sclerosis.

“Virtual Music Fest MS – Presented by: BMO Private Wealth” takes place the last weekend of May.

The first viewing will be on eMusic Live on May 28 at 1:00 p.m. it will also air on New Country 100.7 and 103.1 in Kelowna and Kamloops, Shaw Spotlight and Klick’s YouTube channel on May 29 at 1:00 p.m.

To date, Music Fest MS has raised over $170,000 for the MS Society of Canada, making this event one of the largest one-day, third-party fundraisers in support of MS in Canada.
