Blind Bourbon Tasting, Four-Course Meal Added to Bourbon & Beyond 2022

The world’s largest bourbon and music festival returns to Louisville with a blockbuster lineup featuring several rock icons, as well as Kentucky’s top mash and celeb chefs. And this year, it has a new restaurant on site.

Room of the Rocks Presented by Zelle will be an on-site dining concept located within the festival venue featuring the cuisine of a renowned chef and Louisville restaurant owner Anthony Lamasbourbon tasting with the bourbon authority and a Louisville resident Fred Minnick during his Blind Bourbon tasting experience and performances by selected musical artists, including CAAMP, Courtney Barnett, Fragile graves and St. Vincent.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer presents pulled out all the stops to put together a truly one-of-a-kind weekend and to fit it all in, a full fourth day was added to the annual multi-day event.

“We are always striving to deliver amazing experiences for our fans, and my long-standing goal is to bring a fully functional restaurant to the venue,” Wimmer said. “Thanks to this collaboration with Zelle, we engage attendees in a 360 experience before and during the event. This year’s festival will take place September 15-18 at the Highland Festival Grounds, 937 Phillips Lane, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

Bourbon expert Chris Blandford has carefully curated a vast array of bourbons and crafted specialty cocktails for fans, friends and family. Choose from a wide selection of refreshing and avant-garde cocktails served on demand by local mixologists.
