BLUE NOTE JAZZ FESTIVAL NAPA VALLEY ADDS THIRD DATE ON FRIDAY, JULY 29

“Following the initial sold-out response from our two-day festival lineup within hours, we are delighted to announce a third festival date for the Blue Note Jazz Festival, Napa,says programming director and talent buyer Alex Kurland.

Kurland continues, “This third date presents a breathtaking and exclusive collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Robert GlasperMartin terrace and Kamasi Washington like dinner. We have strived to present a pure concentration of grandeur and culturally significant art – from legendary Chaka Kahnand jazz icon Kenny Garrettto the prolific producer Madlib — we have extraordinary artists and creators gracing the airwaves of the festival drawing on the inspiration, stylistic influence and vibe of Robert Glasper.”

Announced alongside the Friday performances is the VIP Wine Train Platinum Experience. This exclusive experience will allow Platinum VIPs to travel to the festival in style in beautifully restored vintage 20th century Pullman cars. To $1,500 per person per day, VIPs will enjoy a 3-course gourmet brunch, complimentary wine and sparkling wine, and additional benefits including:

  • Access to the air-conditioned Platinum VIP Wine Train with reserved seating and an exclusive viewing platform on the open-air Wine Train car, parked next to one of the stages.
  • Free premium wine tasting at Charles Krug Winery during the festival.
  • Complimentary post-festival light meal with wine and sparkling wine, served on the return wine train to Napa and midday snacks
  • Access to all VIP lounges, viewing platforms and restrooms on site
  • Full cash bar available – the Wine Train is the only area in the entire festival where guests are permitted to consume hard liquor and cocktails.

While tickets for Saturday and Sunday are sold out, an additional 70 weekend tickets are available exclusively for VIP Wine Train Platinum ticket holders. The wine train arrives daily at the festival site at 12:30 p.m. and go to 10:30 p.m. sharp. Tickets for the VIP Wine Train Platinum experience are on sale at Wednesday June 22 at 12 p.m. PT.

The debut of Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley marks the first Blue Note Jazz Festival presented as an outdoor, multi-day, multi-stage event. The uniquely intimate festival, with a limited capacity, will showcase top talent at the historic Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, California of July 29 to 31.

Grammy Award-winning pianist, songwriter and multi-genre producer Robert Glasper serves as the festival’s artist-in-residence. Glasper residence, hosted by a comedian Dave Chappelleincludes special guest performances Dinner with Martin Terrace and Kamasi WashingtonSnoop Dogg, Erykah BaduLedisi, D Smoke, Terrace Martin and BJ the Chicago Kid.

The Napa Valley the outdoor weekend event represents a new audience experience for Blue Note fans by combining a more traditional festival-style event with the local wine culture of Napa Valley. The weekend will include food from renowned restaurants in the region, wine tasting experiences and other VIP additions.

During the pandemic, Blue Note Napa, operating in the valley for six years, partnered with Charles Krug Winery to present nearly 40 successful outdoor summer concerts at a time when few were offered. Charles Krug Winery, established in 1861 as Napa Valley first winery, is remarkable for its historical importance and character.
