GREEN BAY, WI (OnFocus) – Festival Foods and Kellogg Company are teaming up during the month of November to raise money for food pantries across Wisconsin. When shoppers purchase select Kellogg products in November, Kellogg will donate a total of 100,000 meals to Festival Foods’ Food for Neighbors program.
Food for Neighbors benefits over 50 food pantries across Wisconsin and 100% of all donations stay in the communities where they were collected.
Festival Foods launched Food for Neighbors in 2004 to offer shoppers an easy way to support food pantries by donating $5 or $10 directly at checkout. As Festival Foods does not collect a processing fee, every penny of Food for Neighbors in-store donations benefits charities. Kellogg is donating as part of its global environmental, social and governance (ESG) Better Days Promise strategy to advance sustainable and equitable access to food and create better days for three billion people by the end of 2030.
Grain purchases that will support the donation include Kellogg’s® Original Mini Wheat, frosted flakes (all varieties), Froot Loops (all varieties), apple jacks and corn pops.
Shoppers who prefer online shopping can purchase select Kellogg products using Festival Foods’ Click N Go service. Both in-store and online purchases contribute to the match partnership.
Food for Neighbors – along with Paw Away Hunger, which raises money for pet organizations – has raised more than $2.8 million to date, with donations in 2021 of nearly $350,000.
