Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and songwriter Black Coffee brings his self-proclaimed “Afropolitan house” beats to the people of St. Petersburg on February 18.

The indoor space of The Factory, located at 2622 Fairfield Ave. S, will host and house art installations; the outdoor dance floor is where Black Coffee’s set descends

General admission and VIP passes are available at One of Us Events’ website, with prices ranging from $75 to $100 for GA and $130 to $200 for VIP. Bottle service and VIP table reservations can also be purchased here.

The South African music mogul has a long list of credits, including collaborations with Drake, Sabrina Claudio, Usher and David Guetta. A staple of the global house scene since 2005, he continues to cement his place in the industry with every accolade he receives.

His production style is associated with the “deep house” subgenre which uses harmonies and basslines commonly heard in jazz and funk music. The artist’s best songs have a thematic aura of soulful Sade-like grooves with club vibes that could draw anyone onto the dance floor.
The factory, recently associated with the new record center Daddy Kool Records, is a warehouse intended to supply the thriving arts district within the St. Pete community. Black Coffee’s guest spot is representative of a part of the industry they wish to honor.
