mandy moore | Mandy Moore feels ‘so complete’ as a mother for the second time

mandy moore feels “so complete” after becoming a mother for the second time.

The 38-year-old actress – who has been married to musician Taylor Goldsmith since 2018 and already has 23-month-old Gus with him – gave birth to son Oscar in October and explained she was trying to ‘soak up’ the beginning maternity days once again.

She said: “This time is so fleeting. I’m really trying to soak it all up. [of] its little noises and its smell. … This newborn phase is so specific and so special and it goes by so quickly that I just try to hold on to it for as long as possible. We feel so complete now!”

The ‘This Is Us’ star – who was previously married to a rock star ryan adams from 2009 to 2016 – went on to explain that while her eldest definitely looks more like her father, she is unable to say at this time which parent the newborn will ultimately take after more.

She told Us Weekly, “Gus is a carbon copy of my husband and always has been. That’s mean, everyone says that – so much so that I’m like, ‘I swear I was there. . I was one of them.” But Ozzie isn’t determined yet. I don’t know who he’ll look like. It’s still too early. We look at pictures of Gus when he was that age and we’re like, “Whoa. He was completely different.” He’s unlike anything he’s grown so far. Ozzie is a bit stockier than Gus and was heavier from birth. .

“And it has these delicious little rolls, like wrist rolls and back rolls and stuff like that. So I’m really excited. I didn’t get to experience that first time.”

After giving birth to the little one in October, the “Candy” singer took to social media to explain that the arrival was “a bit late” but that her family was “very grateful” to have welcomed a new member.

Alongside a black-and-white image of herself cradling the little one in bed, Mandy wrote on Instagram: “Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with great aplomb (and easier/faster delivery than its big brother, much to the delight of its parents.) Every saying is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of love is staggering. It is beyond words and we are so grateful to our family of four!” (sic)
