MOGA Festival & Pianity Launch Live Musical Performances as NFT at Non Fungible Conference in Lisbon | News

MOGA enters a new era by combining real-world music experiences with the latest internet technologies to deliver NFT audio recording that captures an exclusive live performance. It will be unveiled on the industry-leading Pianity platform at the Non Fungible conference in Lisbon on April 4-5, 2022 and is a groundbreaking new development for festivals and live events.

Next week, real-world experience combines with internet technology to create an exclusive new NFT offering. First, there will be a live showcase on April 4 at 4 p.m. with performances by Moroccan artist Maalem Omar Hayat and DJs from Parallels. The artists’ collaborative work will be mixed and mastered overnight and hit as NFT the next morning. The NFT will be available for purchase on April 5 at 10 a.m. in the MOGA pop-up store at the NFC Summit and online through the Pianity website.

All NFT holders will also receive a video of the showcase. A few golden tickets hidden in random NFTs will include a full pass for both editions of MOGA 2022 festivals in Caparica and Essaouira. To further link the real and digital worlds, select NFT holders will be invited to a private Moroccan dinner on the 5th with members of the MOGA Tribe and the artists.

MOGA opens up the festival experience with web3

Going from a live storefront experience directly to an NFT in the digital world is something that has never been done before. This marks the beginning of a new era for MOGA unlocking new experiences with web3 technology. Additionally, in the future, there will be a series of collectibles offered as NFTs. These collectibles will provide unique access and experiences to the MOGA Festival. This is in partnership with Pianity, an NFT music platform where musicians and their community come together to create, share, trade and collect limited edition tracks. It is built on the environmentally friendly Arweave technology and is a leader in the field.

Original MOGA and essence creations that inspired the release of NFT

Since its creation in Essaouira in 2016, the MOGA festival has set up collaborative projects with electronic artists and traditional Moroccan musicians. Every year, five days before the event, the artists go to the studio, get to know each other, discover each other’s art and create original music that they play LIVE during the festival. The Moroccan National Tourist Office supports the NFC showcase to bring the essence of MOGA into web 3.0.

Over the years, the MOGA team has brought people together from all over the world and are excited to bring them an even more meaningful festival experience. According to the MOGA team, “Since its creation in Essaouira, the spirit of MOGA has been deeply linked by nomadism, curiosity and discovery. Over the past few years, the MOGA Festival has brought together people from all over the world in one community – the self-proclaimed MOGA TRIBE. Today, it’s time for us to enter a new era and offer our tribe a unique way to live and own the festival experience. We are currently creating a limited series of collectibles that will soon be available as NFTs. Not only will they merge tribe members, but they will allow exclusive access to an all-new festival experience.

This is an exciting new development for MOGA that offers fans around the world the opportunity to engage with the festival on a whole new level. So join MOGA TRIBE on DISCORD and be the first to know about upcoming Moga NFT releases.
