North Iowa Band Festival Announces Royalty | Arts and theater

Sound the trumpets, the North Iowa Band Festival royalty has been announced.

The Mason City Chamber of Commerce revealed the nominees for this year’s North Iowa Band Festival royalty on Tuesday.

The royal candidates come from the northern Iowa area and are part of the high school group. The naming of a North Iowa Band Festival king and queen will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at the main lodge in downtown Mason City.

This year’s festival will take place from May 26-30, with the parade scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 28.

The following alumni have been named royalty and will represent their high school group:

Central Springs High School Group

Parents: Andy and Michelle Hill

Music: marching band, concert band, jazz band, entertainment band, solo ensemble competition, choir, school musical, jazz and chamber choir, participant from all states
