We’re losing count of how many artists are showing off their amazing work ahead of appearances at the 2022 EPCOT International Arts Festival, and we can add another talented artist to the list with Jason Ratner, graphic designer for The Walt Disney Company. He showed off his new pieces as well as his appearance schedule on his Instagram page.
Ratner’s first play pays homage to the iconic ‘Steamboat Willie’, the first Mickey Mouse cartoon released in 1928. We can see many sites from the cartoon, including Mickey, Minnie, Pete, the boat itself, the bird that makes fun of Mickey, and many other iconographies.
The second features the beloved Jessica Rabbit highlighted by lots of neon lights, as if displayed somewhere on a wall.
And the third focuses on Cinderella and her animal friends (and her nemesis Lucifer) as a dress is made for her for the ball.
Ratner will appear every weekend during the 2022 EPCOT International Arts Festival in the Wonderground Gallery tent near the France Pavilion, so you’ll have plenty of chances to meet the man himself and get him to sign your draw.
