Seven Lions and Blastoyz release “Reason For Fighting”

This Friday, Seven Lions and Blastoyz reunite for their second collab, “Reason For Fighting.”

Since its live debut in 2020, the track has become one of the label’s most anticipated releases and follows their latest collaboration “After Dark” on Seven Lions’ Start Again EP.

With three powerful drops, “Reason For Fighting” mixes with psytrance and melodic bass to blur the lines between a main stage anthem and an underground heavyweight with the triumphant voice of ERV ELLO.

From Ultra Music Festival to EDC Mexico, the track has scored milestone moments at festivals across the country in recent months. More recently, Seven Lions and Blastoyz reunited on the main stage of Beyond Wonderland to present the track one last time before its release.

Washington-based producer Seven Lions has never had a problem pushing the boundaries of electronic music to realize his creative vision. Taking a break from winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with their dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go,” Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, gained backing from Anjunabeats, Casablanca, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records and Monstercat over the past ten years. Israeli DJ, musician and producer Kobi Nigreker, better known as Blastoyz, has established himself as one of the leading artists on the psytrance scene in recent years. His uplifting production and mesmerizing bass lines landed him on labels including Armada Music, Iboga Records, Spinnin’ and Dreamstate with backing from Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Will Sparks, and more.

With a consistent presence on Beatport’s top charts and millions of streams worldwide, Blastoyz has amassed a dedicated international fanbase with no signs of slowing down. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists such as Vini Vici, Skazi and Seven Lions with major performances under his belt at festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Zoo and EDC Las Vegas.
