The 2022 USA Women’s National Hockey Festival will take place August 8-13

“The opportunity for players of all skill levels to come together for this year’s National Festival is exciting,” said Katie Million, Director of Women’s National Team Program for USA Hockey. “Having players compete against each other in the game settings as we assess and prepare for international competition, will only strengthen our program as we move into this season’s schedule.”

The United States Women’s National Team will hold their pre-camp immediately following the conclusion of the festival at Harborcenter August 14-17, before heading to Denmark. Media availability and information about the WWC festival and pre-camp will be released in the coming days.

REMARKS: Final rosters for the United States Women’s National Team, United States Women’s Under-18 Selection Team, and United States Collegiate Women’s Selection Team are set to be announced on Sunday, August 14. … The United States Collegiate Women’s Select Team has already been named the US Under-22 Select Team. The team is expanded this year to include any varsity-eligible player during the 2022-23 season… John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.) will be the head coach of the United States Women’s National Team in 2022. Josh Sciba (Westland, Michigan), head coach of the women’s ice hockey team at Union College Shelley Looney (Maryland Heights, Mo.), head coach of the women’s ice hockey team at Lindenwood University, will serve as assistant coaches, while Alli Altman (Eagan, Minn.) will coach the goalies… Allison Coomey (Baldwinsville, NY), associate head coach of the Penn State University women’s hockey team, will serve as head coach of the U.S. Under-22 team, along with assistant ice hockey coach Minnesota State University Women’s Shari Dickerman (Richmond, Minnesota) and Lee-J Mirasolo (Wakefield, Mass.), associate head coach of the Harvard University women’s ice hockey program, serving as assistant coaches and volunteer women’s ice hockey coach at Yale University Mackenzie Bruch (Powder Springs, Georgia) as goaltending coach… Katie Lachapelle (Lewiston, Maine), head coach of the women’s ice hockey team at College of the Holy Cross, will serve as head coach of the U.S. under-18 team. Liz Keady Norton (Boston, Mass.), head women’s ice hockey coach at Dartmouth College and assistant women’s ice hockey coach at Northeastern University Lindsay Berman (North Reading, Mass.), will serve as assistant coaches, along with the University of Augsburg assistant women’s hockey coach Sanya Sandahl (Duluth, Minn.) as a goaltending coach… Athletes Megan Bozek, Abigail Boreen, Calla Frank, Alex Cavallini, Brianna Decker, Nathalie Heising , Gabbie Hughesand Gracie Ostertag were invited, but were unable to attend.
