The audience welcomed the announcement of the BNI Java Jakarta International Jazz Festival (BNIJJF2022), which will be held live from May 27 to 29, 2022 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) in Kemayoran, North Jakarta.
In addition, the opening lineup features a wide range of musicians from genres that include jazz and its derivative forms, ranging from Grammy Best R&B Album award winner PJ Morton to young Indonesian jazz musician Adikara Fardy.

Dewi Gontha, chief executive of organizer Java Festival Production, said the return of BNIJJF this year was good news for Indonesian music lovers, following a vacuum of concerts and live events that had severely affected many people. , especially musicians and the music industry. .

This year’s BNI Java Jazz Festival is themed “Blooming Season” and features an art exhibition that will captivate visitors in time with various works of art for the enjoyment of people from all walks of life.
Dewi expressed the hope that the Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2022 will quench music lovers’ “thirst for live music festivals” and that “more and more people will fall in love with jazz and its derivative musical genres, especially R&B , soul, funk and other musical genres that will be found at the festival”.
