The first Cincinnati International Jazz Festival will be held this weekend on the ICON festival stage at Smale Riverfront Park.
Hosted by Rainbow Promotions and Robbie Todd Productions, this two-day celebration will feature tons of jazz musicians, including Brian Culbertson, Avery Sunshine, Norman Brown and more.
“Cincinnati has a long history of celebrating vibrant music that moves and inspires,” Rainbow Promotions President and CEO Kim Benoit said in a statement. “We are thrilled to present some of the most talented musicians in the world for a celebration the city deserves.”
The first day of the festival will feature headliners Avery Sunshine, Norman Brown and Alex Bugnon. On day two, Brian Culbertson, with over 40 Billboard No. 1 singles, will perform with eight other jazz musicians.
“I am thrilled to be back in Cincinnati, home of King Records, Bootsy Collins, Skyline Chile, and so much more,” Culbertson said in a statement. “It’s going to be awesome !”
The festival will also host retailers offering everything from accessories to clothing to art, as well as food and drink vendors.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. on September 2 and 11:30 a.m. on September 3. Tickets range from $60 to $185 and are available online now and at the box office beginning at 3:30 p.m. on September 2.
