The history of the Digital City Festival

Digital City Festival will return to Manchester from 27 – 31 March 2023.

The week will be filled with an exciting range of events, exhibits and speakers all aimed at inspiring, connecting and celebrating the digital community. At the heart of the Festival is Digital City Expo – a two-day in-person event where you can meet specialists and leaders from the marketing, technology and e-commerce industries.

Presented by the Prolific North team, the Festival brings together our most successful exhibitions: Marketing Show North, Ecommerce Show North and Tech Show North. Born out of a desire to create a space where everyone in the digital industry can collaborate, learn and grow, the team made the decision to bring these three exhibitions together in one cohesive week.

Festival director Martyn Collins said: “The main challenges facing businesses looking to grow will include technology, marketing and e-commerce – so why have three separate events to manage each? By bringing them together under one roof, business owners have more opportunities to find the answers to the issues they need help with the most. » Learn more about the history of DCF here.

The Digital City Festival kicked off in 2020 with exhibits such as MiQ, Dot Digital, and Silverchip, plus special guest speakers from Co-op, Social Chain, and Microsoft, to name a few! There were also over 50 festival events over the week across the city of Manchester and beyond.
