Natali Caro (she/they) is a Sydney-based Colombian/Chilean queer comedian, actress, drag king, writer and event producer who works hard to elevate QTPOC.
I dug up three comedy lineups showcasing racial diversity and inclusion this Fringe season.
With line-up after line-up meeting prescribed token quotas (or not bothering you at all), this show will be a refreshing look at what you’ve all been missing. We’re tired of being the only person of color in the room, let alone the bill. Thanks for having me is a welcome departure from all of Karen’s… (ah, how do you say) ‘caucasianness’ and demeanor.

Laugh out loud with hilarious stories and unique perspectives on being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australia. And after the comedy, don’t miss the eternal Koorie Lip Sync Battle! As a child of Colombian and Chilean immigrants, it was always hard to see our stories used as punchlines for sketchy comedic payoffs, or more commonly in Australia, not told at all! Here’s a show that takes control and flips the narrative on immigrants and racism.
