Various literary agencies and organizations in the Gwalior-Chambal Division will be participating in the International Literature Festival to be held in Gwalior from the 27th of this month. As previously reported, the Sports and Cultural Association of Udbhav is organizing an international literature festival as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. The event, under the patronage of Udhav Sahityak Manj, will be held at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management from August 27-30.
The festival will be sponsored by Central Academy School and Akhil Bharateeya Sahitya Parishad.
A special meeting was held today at Vivekananda Conference Hall, Nai Sadak to finalize the program and other lists of festival items.
Shridhar Paradkar, chief patron of the festival presided over the ceremony which was attended by board members of various agencies and literary organizations. Speaking on the occasion, Paradkar said that the festival is organized to celebrate the creative spirit by bringing it into conversation with the best personalities in the field of literature inside and outside the country.
He added that the festival will give a new identity to the literary traditions of the region.
Keshav Pandey, chairman of the Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association, said this is the first time an international festival of this magnitude has been held in Gwalior, so it is the responsibility of all literature lovers. to make it a success.
Literary personalities, such as Bhagavan Swarup Chaitanya, Ghanshyam Bharati, Kumar Sanjiv, Neeru Singh Ghni, Ashok Shironkar and Rajesh Awasthy, among others, shared their suggestions to make the festival a success.
The meeting was also attended by Deepak Tomar; Arvind Singh Jadon, Principal of Central Academy; Manisha Jain; Monu Rana; Rajendra Mudugal and Aditya Singh Bhadouria among others.
