WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia (WAVY) – In January, the Winter jazz blues festival will return to Williamsburg for his eighth year.
The festival will last four days, from Thursday January 13 to Sunday January 16, and will feature eight different events, including a musical performance by the Blind Boys of Alabama.
Organizers say the goal is to provide an entertaining weekend full of jazz and blues programs to suit all tastes and budgets.

THURSDAY 1/13
Opening night: 7 p.m.
Location: Williamsburg Winery: 5800 Wessex Hundred, Williamsburg, VA 23185

FRIDAY 1/14
Mixology & Music: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Friday evening after the party: 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Place: Café de la Culture
The ticket includes: a drink and snacks at the end of the evening

SATURDAY 1/15
The Big Bluesy: from noon to 4 p.m.
Location: The Williamsburg Lodge – Virginia Room
The ticket includes: Beer, wine, cider and signature glass. Delicious food offerings from Colonial Williamsburg.
Music: Lurrie Bell and his Band and The Jason Cale Band
Saturday signature event: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
